Just an FYI, the Flames AHL affiliate moved to Stockton, CA for the start of next year after spending a year in Adirondack. They were in Abbotsford before that.

I'm really excited about Hunter Smith... moreso than any other prospect in the system not named Sam Bennett or John Gillies....

Yeah I knew all the Pacific teams relocated. Just had a brain cramp, I guess. Thanks for pointing that out!

Agreed, I'm very excited about smith too. Could be a perfect fit on either the first line or second line in the future. He could really become a beast playing with Johnny and Mony

As much as I love the chemistry with Huds, it would be great to see a big mean scoring threat on that side. Johnny takes too many cheap shots after whistles from guys who know they can get away with it.

Exactly! Then think about frolik/fer Bennett hurdler for your second line. Or even back line centering that line as a scoring threat and shutdown line! We have a great compliment of guys now to play in all situations, our top nine is deep!

I'm really excited for Smith. I'm hoping he can be like Brent Burns is for San Jose. A versatile big guy who can put the puck in the net is just more added depth for the Flames!

Also, I'm pretty excited about what Rafikov can possibly bring to the blue line depth.

The future looks bright!

Rafikov could be a wild card in the mix of nakadal, Morrison, sieloff, tspoon, anderson, kylington. We are pretty friggan deep in terms of prospect potential it looks like! I still have hi hopes for klimchuk too, he's just taking some time.

if he can keep on laying hits like he did in last years prospect camp, me too.

And wasn't he on the line that had to shut down Mcdaivd?

I think thats he's going to be a Neminsz type situation.

Good enough to take the next step, not good enough to stay there.

And I think spoon, morrison and the russian dude are ahead of him

I think he will make it soon, be a 2nd or 3rd line guy that scores!

Yeah could be! I keep forgetting about kulak and kanzig as well. They must be down the depth chart now too.

It's hard to know who stacks up where when they're all playing in different leagues. Stockton is our best indicator of who's most ready.

I also am stoked for Smith.

But Killington for as low as he fell could be a huge game breaker for us as well.
